Your own knowledge base

The Help Center is a public site of articles where customers find answers themselves. The Help Center section is in the sidebar.

Creating a portal

  1. Open Help Center → Settings.
  2. Create a portal and fill in:
    • Name — the portal title;
    • Slug — part of the address, for example help;
    • Domain — your own domain, if you want one;
    • Colour — your brand colour;
    • Header text — the line on the home page.

Locales

Help Center → Locales is where you set the portal languages and the default one. Every article belongs to a specific language — translations are separate articles.

Categories

Help Center → Categories. A category groups articles by topic. For each one set a name, description, icon and position, which decides the order on the home page.

Categories are created per language.

Articles

  1. Open Help Center → Articles.
  2. Create an article.
  3. Write the text — markdown is supported.
  4. Pick a category and a language.
  5. Save it as a draft or publish it.

What to write about

Look at the label report for conversations: the topics that come up most often are the articles to write first. They are also what takes load off your agents.

Connection to the AI Agent

Help center articles can be loaded into the assistant's documents, so the AI answers customers from the same material.

Custom domain

To serve the portal from your own domain:

  1. Add a CNAME record at your domain registrar.
  2. Set up an SSL certificate.
  3. Enter the domain in the portal settings.

Search engines

Published articles are available to search engines. Fill in each article's description — it is used as the page summary in search results.
